Alison Jones

Dr Alison Jones trained in Cambridge, qualifying in 1978. She spent two years at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, USA, in adult medicine, followed by GP training back in Cambridge, but diverted to paediatrics from 1984, training in Cambridge and at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH). Following a PhD in molecular immunology at GOSH and the Institute of Child Health in 1988, Dr Jones completed paediatric immunology training at GOSH. She became a consultant there in 1993 and works as a clinical paediatric immunologist, with expertise in antibody deficiency and immunoglobulin therapy.
